Saturday 14th December  Emsworth Christmas Market Day featuring Hampshire Farmers' Market
 
A special Christmas market from 10am until 3pm with Hampshire Farmers’ Market in its new location in South Street Car Park. The Salvation Army Band will be in North Street from 11.30am.


The South Street Car Park will also feature a nativity themed farm, allowing young children to see and touch the farm animals. (Sponsored by The Emsworth Business Association)




will be open in the Emsworth Centre, adjacent to the car park.  This is now a monthly indoor market held on the 2nd Saturday of each month the market opens at 10:00am and closes at 1:00pm and offers small local producers an affordable way to sell directly to the public in Emsworth. Best Dressed Shop & Stall Competition
The Mayor of Havant is arriving in Emsworth at Mid-day to make a visit to 'Christmas in Emsworth'.  'Best Shop' and the 'Best Stall' will be judged by the Mayor and the winners in both categories will win a bottle of Champagne.

This small competition is open to all door wreaths on display
during the weekend of December 14th & 15th within the
commercial district south of the A259:

West Street, High Street, Queen Street, King Street, Tower Street, Nile Street, School Lane, Frobisher Gardens, Orange Row, South Street, Bridgefoot Path, Pelham Terrace, Frankland Terrace, King’s Terrace & Spring Gardens.

The judges are especially keen to see wreaths made using natural materials. There is no need to complete an entry form – the judges will visit all the listed roads on December 14th & 15th and the owner of the wreath they consider the most delightful will receive a bottle of champagne, courtesy of Hermitage Cellars.
