Therefore we have a new set of councillors, with new ideas and new priorities, although with the continuing squeeze on local government budgets, many of the problems remain. The new leader is ClIr Phil Munday, who has lived in Denvilles for more than forty years. He was elected to the council in 2022 and has been leader since May, with a cabinet drawn from Labour, the Greens and Lib Dems, includ¬ing ClIr Grainne Raison, one of our Emsworth councillors. At the meeting he will outline the general approach and strategy of the new Council and the priorities that they have adopted for Havant going forward. He will be wanting to hear your views and address your questions, so please come along to hear how the new council is addressing the issues which we face locally and make your views known.
