January
8th January Film Club At The
Community Association
We start the year with new beginnings for the ECA. The new Film Club
launches with the award winning film "THE QUEEN" starring Helen Mirren. For
this film only there will be the chance for you book for an afternoon or an
evening viewing. The film is brought to us by a touring film company who
cover all of Dorset and Hampshire, visiting Community centres and village
halls like ourselves. The standard, I find, is quite outstanding with top
quality equipment and a great choice of films. We plan to show a film on the
second Monday of each month normally in the evening. There is a set ticket
price from the company of £4.50 and this will include some refreshment and
of course a chance to meet new friends within the community. If you would
like to bring your own cushion for extra comfort, please do, but we hope to
have some new chairs in the very near future. We rely on your feedback for
the future planning of this club so don't be shy; let us know what you
think. Tickets will be available from Newsmag in the village who have kindly
offered to sell them for us, as well as from Committee members.
Please telephone Alison on 377493 for reservations, tickets or information.

We are hoping for better weather this year, as those of you who valiantly
went round in the pouring rain in 2004 will appreciate. Details will be
