Roger Morgan-Grenville’s new book,  ‘The Restless Coast’, Thursday, June 5th, 7.30-9.30pm at Memorial Hall, South Downs Centre, Midhurst. All proceeds go to the charity Western Sussex Rivers Trust to help support the protection and reviving of our rivers here in the south east of England.

The island of Britain has over 10,000 miles of coastline, steeped in history and constantly shifting, changing, adapting and providing.

The Restless Coast is a moving and beautiful account of a journey around it, during which the author travels its length to discover its challenges and opportunities, and to talk to the people trying to protect it.

Join us for an evening celebrating Roger’s new book where Western Sussex Rivers Trust CEO, Aimee Felus will highlight the intimate link between our rivers and coast, while Roger will outline the challenges facing our modern coastline and the champions who are working so hard to improve things.

With wine and nibbles available, the celebrations will take place within yards of the iconic River Rother in the heart of the South Downs National Park.

Books will be available to purchase, and all proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the vital work of the Western Sussex Rivers Trust.
