Latest News from WEMSFEST
Nearly 300 people rose to their
feet last Saturday 5 April in St Paul's Church to acclaim
The Surtierra Project which delivered such a memorable
musical performance after less than 7 weeks of
rehearsals. Wow
! The WemsFest
Choir with Quimantu and the Alkyona Quartet - such a
wonderful evening of music.
There are more performances in Park Community School
(9/5), Portsmouth Cathedral with 2 more choirs (14/6) and St
Paul’s Church, Covent Garden (20/6)
This came on the back of 3 sold-out
performances in March by Chris Stout & Kris Drever, Steve
Knightley, and FARA.
All quite exceptional in their own right.
The music continues !
Tuesday 15 April sees a return to
St. James' Church by the ten-piece Feast of Fiddles which
includes 6 superb fiddlers.
Special last-minute booking !

Afrobeat musician Gasper Nali brings his band to The Old
