Marie Curie says a great big THANK YOU Emsworth for making every Daffodil count this March
Marie Curie in the Emsworth area
want to thank everyone involved in making the 2025 Great
Daffodil Appeal a great success.
The spring fundraising appeal,
which took place between 1st February and 30th April, saw
lots of local volunteers out collecting donations for the
charity, in return for a daffodil pin. All funds raised
throughout the month will help Marie Curie provide vital
care and support to people living with a terminal illness
and their loved ones, in their own homes.
£ 600.00 was raised in Emsworth.
Florin Diaconu, Deputy Head of Fundraising South East and
East, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to
everyone for helping to make every daffodil count this
March, including members of Marie Curie’s local registered
volunteers and groups. Your support from donating or being
one of our amazing volunteers who collected donations, means
that our nurses can care for someone in their own home.
Thank you for helping make a difference to people at
the end of their lives at a time when they need it most.”
