My Little Coffee Co owner launches first coffee shop in Emsworth
A
local coffee business is reaching new heights as it opens
its first coffee shop in Emsworth.
Roxie Tricker from Horndean, is known for My Little Coffee Co, which became an instant success after starting out at South Lane Meadow, Clanfield in 2023.
Fast forward to now, South
Street Coffee Co is the newest adventure, demonstrating
the success and popularity of the business.
“I can't thank enough the people who support me because
otherwise we wouldn't be growing as we are,” Roxie told the Petersfield
Post.
“It is a big step going from the van to a coffee shop, but I
just wanted to take that next step to bring my coffee into
Emsworth.
“A lot of the locals are quite pleased and my customers from
the meadow have told me they will come over.”
The shop offers a variety of hot and cold drinks (Owby
Outdoors) Prior
to opening, Roxie held a series of sneak peak events and the
feedback was positive, with many locals glad to see the
space brought back to life.
The past few years, the former barber was empty and
run down, but it has now been given the ultimate revamp
thanks to the work of Roxie’s husband Scott.
There are also touches that pay tribute to the town, Roxie
explained: “There is an old paper that was found in the
depths of layers of walls, it is 1919, so it goes right
back.
“We've tried to keep some of the heritage in it, and local
artist Trevor Smith has painted a couple of the pictures in
here that you can also buy from him.”
Roxie hopes that the shop will help promote and support
local businesses, with coffee beans from Winchester Coffee
Roasters that supplies the van and seasonal cakes from
Cakesmiths. You
can find Esmworth’s latest addition on South Street as you
head towards the harbour.
