This June, the Parish Council is excited to announce the return of our summer fête, with this year’s theme being Sussex Day. The event promises to be a delightful celebration of our local heritage and community spirit.

We are thrilled to welcome back some of our favourite vendors who have supported us in the past. Skyline will once again grace the fête with their two large marquees, providing ample space for activities and relaxation. They will also bring their charming vintage VW bar with its unique style and refreshing beverages. St. John’s Church will be generously offering a free barbeque, a highlight of last years event, keep an eye out for your voucher in our upcoming publications!

Adding to the excitement, the Ministry of Defence (MOD) will be returning, showcasing their impressive Stormer vehicle. This attraction was a crowd favourite at last year’s D-Day event, captivating both young and old with its powerful presence. Mark your calendars for Saturday 14th June 2025 11am- 3pm at Southbourne Recreation Ground and join us for a day filled with fun, food, and festivities as we celebrate Sussex Day together.
