Rumours and Gossip abound. 

Several weeks ago, customers at the Old Pharmacy  were told that it would be closing. Since then, four staff have left and not been replaced.  Now the same customers are being told that the Pharmacy is not closing?  The freeholder of the building is reported as have said that the lessee has not informed her of any closure. 

So,hat is going on?

The  pharmacy has very many loyal customers who pick up their prescriptions here and depend on the friendly and ever helpful staff to answer their queries.  Where will the go if the business closes, the Emsworth Pharmacy in North Street, or further afield to Westbourne or Southbourne?

The Business has been asked to comment.
